As an extension of the social learning theory, social cognitive theory focuses on **social influence** and **reinforcement** play a key role in acquiring, maintaining and changing behavior. Individual behavior is a result of reinforcement, individual experiences, aspirations, etc. While the former focuses on the process of learning, the latter focuses on the social process of learning.
