The Advanced Television Systems Committee, Inc. (ATSC), is an international, non-profit organization developing voluntary standards for digital television. The ATSC member organizations represent the broadcast, broadcast equipment, motion picture, consumer electronics, computer, cable, satellite, and semiconductor industries (http://atsc.org/about).
